Meet Dr. Brinton
Dr. Brinton completed his undergraduate and medical school training at Stanford and the University of Utah, where he was a member of the Honor Medical Society Alpha Omega Alpha and recipient of the Dean’s Award.
Dr. Brinton served his internship at Harvard and completed an ophthalmology residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and a vitreoretinal fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Brinton spent three years as a faculty member at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he headed the ocular trauma unit, taught his specialty to other ophthalmologists, and published extensive research in diseases of the eye.
He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a clinical professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine, a former president of the Utah Ophthalmology Society, a council member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the Retina Society and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
He is listed in Best Doctors in America, Guide to Top Doctors, and America’s Top Ophthalmologists.
